How are devices counted?
Professional and Enterprise are priced by the number of computers that Access Manager manages. This includes every computer whose LAPS password, BitLocker recovery key or just-in-time access Access Manager handles. The free Community edition covers up to 100 devices. If you manage more than 100 devices, you need a paid license. Professional covers up to 1,000 devices, and Enterprise covers more than 1,000.
How is it billed?
Professional and Enterprise are licensed by the year. You're billed once a year for the number of devices you license. Professional's starting price of USD 750 includes your first 100 devices.
How can we pay?
For 100 to 1,000 devices, you can order Professional online. We'll email you a formal quote with a link to pay by card. If you need your purchase order number on the order, you can include it when you order. Once the order process is complete, you'll receive a license key via email. For more than 1,000 devices, please request an Enterprise quote. Enterprise customers can pay by invoice on payment terms, and we can include your purchase order number on the invoice.
Does my license auto renew?
Licenses don't renew automatically. Before your license ends, we'll send you a renewal quote for the next year. You pay a Professional renewal by card, and we invoice Enterprise renewals. Access Manager also shows a notice in the product as your renewal date gets close.
Can we purchase through a reseller?
Yes. We work with resellers such as SHI and SoftwareOne, and we can work with most other resellers if you have one you prefer. You can ask them for a quote for Lithnet Access Manager Enterprise.
Do we need to reinstall to upgrade to Professional or Enterprise edition?
No. Community, Professional and Enterprise are the same software. To upgrade, you apply your license key to your existing installation. Your configuration, authorization rules and agents stay as they are.
Can I get a trial?
Yes. We can send you a free 30-day trial license key that unlocks every feature of Access Manager. Please request a free trial, and we'll email the key to you. You apply the key to a Community installation, and everything you set up during the trial stays in place when you buy a license.
